Defenses down, the naked soul peers out blinking in the glare of love light your light bathing me in eager fingers working on the buckles of the armour to my heart. No hurricane to harm me just gentle breezes of i love you breathed across my ear carrying the flavour of many years of yearning for completion, satisfaction promised in the bonding Spirit gave us which crumbled under pressures we were too young to understand, withstand we shattered into pieces blown apart in time and space till Spirit took a hand to mend what should never have been broken in the first place manifested light that still gleams in the moody shadowed forever darkness of your eyes that look intent enough to mark me with your logo initials and a love song to keep me breathing the sweet dark light we live in.
