To ask for life to be easy Is like asking for tears from the sun To ask just to be happy Is like asking for the moon To ask for God to shine his light down And caress your aching soul To just fill that void of loneliness To heal you and make you whole With time no doubt he'll do it In a life that's torn apart You see I've hit rock bottom And my world is cold and dark I've felt as high as Mount Everest And as low as hell might lay I've cried those sad sad tears As if I've drowned in the everglades But my love has not yet ended And filling that void has been a test But I know that God still listens He just hasn't confirmed it yet For I have yet to feel the sun's precious tears And God's beautiful light caress Even though it has not happened I know he has not failed me yet.

About this poem:
I wrote this for all those who are waiting for change. It seems to take forever, but I can assure you that it will come.
Prayer and faith. Prayer and faith, when you have nothing sometimes that's all you have.

The mistake we make today, is relying upon 'Prayer and Faith' as a LAST RESORT, when 'Prayer and Faith' should ALWAYS be the first weapon of choice against any battle we are confronted to fight.
I believe it's in Psalm 93 that God declares that our hope is not in the strength of the powerfulness of mighty horses! (but it's inferred that our hope should be in the ONE that created those horses!)
I especially like the line.... "To ask for life to be easy Is like asking for tears from the sun"
Just as it's obvious, that the sun will never shed tears for us, nor can we expect 'LIFE' to be easy... that was ruined back in the Garden of Eden... however... God DOES have a plan for us that is all about Redemption and Restoration of 'LIFE' that will satisfy the longing of our souls!!

It is said that faith can move mountains - you have moved a few mountains with this declaration of your faith.
Best wishes
