Call of the River

Down through the forest
of evergreen trees
I hear the river
she's calling to me
Come to the bank
so covered in green
see the great river
a joy to be seen
Down looks the eagle
as feet rush to see
follow the heart
that is beckoning me
Nature its wonder
from mountain to sea
follow the river
that calls out to me
