Scarborough silence
I`m falling asleep
between novels and flowers,
like a little cruel angel
moving her wings in the clouds.
I closed my eyes
to feel my body falling,
like a dolphin mesmerized
by strange noise in the dark.
I opened my eyes,
I was in front of you,
I`m the gypsy dancer,
I`m the daughter of the night.
I closed my eyes,
I knew you were right there.
I feel the movement of your feet
leaving the footsteps on the sand,
you make me turn around
and give you a tender smile.
I open my eyes,
you are still standing there.
I bathe in the cold and grey sea,
it makes my body tremble;
I look into your soul a reason
to take me away in your arms.
Closed and open eyes,
we look into each other`s heart;
I`m in the place where I want to live,
you are the one who I want to stay there.
Everything`s quiet but the eternal sea,
it reminds me songs of ancient times;
everything here is familiar to me
like a deja vu from another life.
Sitting in the beach you wait for me
with the normal patience of your eyes,
you follow each step of my dance
while the waves kiss my skin.
Scarborough silence,
let me hear the beat of your heart;
I`m in the place where I want to live,
you are tge one who I want to stay there.
You call me and bring me to life,
leaving myself the cold water;
although I`m completely wet,
I run,like a child,into your arms.
I feel your strong hug,
i kiss your lips and your neck
"what a vampire you are!",
you said and made you laugh.
Could you get my heart?I open my eyes,
time to return to my house;
falling asleep in my bed again
and in my waist the sense of your hands.
