This

The ugly truth of this,
is that the ugly in you
Brings out the beauty in me

Even when I see more flaws then I`d like to see
In my person
On my body
Hidden in my psyche

Within all the pain that summons tears
Overflowing rivers
And muscles in torrid knots
Creating unsolved puzzles laying in waste

Ugly creates beauty
And beauty creates the ugly

In this life
This way is unclear
Will the opaque film dissolve
Letting your eyes discover
What was once a life and can be again

Pain in its vaingloriousness
Infecting crevices never before visited
Leaving the insecure empty human to be seen

Where are you?

In this experience
Do you still bleed?
Cry human tears?
Feel warmth when it`s given?
And cold when you`re alone with yourself?

In this
Do you believe that in the shallow waters
Still receding on your souls` shores
You can breath in deeply
And breath out slowly
Releasing who you were
With the multitude of self opened wounds
And heal
Leaving nothing but a scar
To remind you
In this

We are all human

In this

I still believe

There`s a better soul
Just infantile
Not ready to walk alone

In this

Self renewal
It`ll fall into place
For us all

Life
Dreams
Love

In this
Beauty creates ugly
Ugly creates the beauty

About this poem:
Written 5-30-11 after watching Beastly. It has bad reviews but I really sunk my metaphorical fangs into it.
We all have good, bad, and things in us we don`t even want to see.
Until we actually open those doors, and take on those demons with weapons of mass destruction, can we survive in "This." The pain that we don`t want to deal with, make us bland, and incapable of seeing the beauty in others, and ourselves. Nor does it let us, love.
