Autumn sheds its Summers face

The pureness
of the leaf drop
as it floats from its source
of life

dancing through its last breath
settling
softly
softly
upon its autumn carpet nest

swish swish swish
as wind smiles his breath upon her
up and up to dance again

reds oranges and gold
twirling dancing magic

and then back down to settle
for the winters seasons rest
to seep back into life again
and rise back to its best

Thankyou Niah.I am a central North Islander and theres always beautiful colours in Autumn there. And plenty of wind. Autumn sweeps through like a tornado.Ha. Whips you up as well as the leaves. Northland has a different kind of magic altogether.

After winter, to seep back into life again and rise back to its best is the goal of all living things; but to have his breath upon her up and up to dance again is, truly, a gift of autumn. Lovely!

Yes jst around the corner. Sydney can get cold but they do get heaps of sunshine.Actually today its really warm.Im a kiwi you see. And to me its like springtime.
