Twenty-one years old and a baby age four Six o'clock every morning she is through the door A job barely above minimum wage she cherish Without it her family would surely perish She doesn't stop to think about the man asleep A Stay-At-Home Dad that she must keep Or the house work that will surely stay Where it is at until the end of her day
A wealthy man of high means he is in his mind To him companionship is not hard to find So why is his home so lonely and drear Why is there no special someone to care No one to fix a crook tie with a kiss Just another pretty face; one moment of bliss Then he is all alone yet he says he is a player As he whispers to Loneliness, "shut you betrayer"
A family of four with all the earthly treasures Parties, friends and endless pleasures They share the same address and name And their lifestyle is published for fame But they are strangers to each other Two children who has never hugged their mother Never been rocked by their jetsetting father Never loved as sister and brother
Failures all are they and knows it not They have learnt to satisfy with what they've got Fighting to hold on to the wind as it rushes by Might have been more successful if they try Because they are all standing in quick sand They just don't see or understand Until they have recognized their failures The will never learn to appreciate their true values
