Escape
Author: Unknown
Traffic roars an inch past my head,,
Birds sing and cherp, but only to my left
Babies cry and others laugh
While rover and chums bark echoing at the back of my already full mind
problems sky rocket inside this brain,
solutions to be sorted, conundrums to be counted
is made less easy with distractions of life been lived
time to take solice, time to reflect
take yourself now to that one place,
where your sounds are born,
look down to the cold clear water,
it runs over your grateful feet
feel the breeze brush all over you as it passes
raise your tired head
see the bright emptyness, there is nothing more,
only the sound of the sea caressing the land
empty your mind, and stay in this place
you are home, my friend
