The Storm

Periods of calm ,Periods of Pain
And when the pass they come again
Moods Swininging hither and thither
Rain and sunshine like the weather

It's not a pleasant place inside this mind
There's a battle going on of a kind
Thought confusion spinning fast
I wonder how long the fight will last

The real test is to bear the pain
I battle on to stay but sane
Sometimes i feel i stand alone
A lonely Soldier on his own

This i guess is my earthly role
Soul to body ,body to soul
There's a world of war inside my head
Relief at last it's time for bed

Hi, Nuliiiiiii,
This i guess is my earthly role Soul to body ,body to soul what marvelous lines. It's amazing that one can work, write poetry and be a friend, all while a battle is waging inside one's head. The human spirit is indeed strong, thankful for those Periods of calm.
