My dream woman..

When I first saw your radient
smile my heart melted like
butter
But you had a boyfriend then
and he was your only lover
Your brunette hair sculpted
down your cheek..you seemed
a princess to me
But to hold you in passions
embrace was never meant to be
The months rolled on and I
watched you walk from your
car to your house
I lay in bed with a terrible
dread but grieved like a lonely
mouse
You found another abuser though
good looking he was
Oh, how the pain ripped me night
and day as I dreamed of your
sweet love
In the mornings you'd smile and
wave as I drove off to work
Yet my broken heart took years
to heal knowing you actually
married that jerk~

About this poem:
True story that happened to me in 1995. A girl that lived four doors down from me named Debby. She was one of those super friendly to everybody type people and never saw the impact she had on me..
