A WINTERS RIDE

A WINTERS RIDE


I was driving home from church one day
A long a winding road,
Where the snow did lay.


The sun was shining brilliantly’
I could see the deer tracks
Where they did play.


I could see the birds
Hopping from tree to tree
I said is this not God
Work we all see.


The snow was sparkling
On the road like glass
I began to think of
My childhood in my past.


When we would sled ride
Down frozen hills
And it was such a blast

As I arrived home
And pulled into the drive,
I thanked God for sure a ride.
On this chilly day he provided
