Once Mapped

Sometimes I go inside myself
And shut out all thats real
All these years of sorrow
Were never part of the deal

Existing in an intolerable world
Its hard to not feel trapped
I remember innocence
In a world once so well mapped

hug Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem hug

When I'm so focused on taking beautiful photos, I go inside myself, inside my digital camera...always looking for the perfect picture to shoot. Being with Nature is always so calming and soothing... rarely do Nature complain about the intolerable world, the advancing technology or pesticide that is killing Nature every day... But in all its silent pain and suffering, there are a few good humans around voicing their concerns for Nature... how many years did that take for human eyes to really see?

“Even
After
All this time
The Sun never says to the Earth,

"You owe me."

Look
What happens
With a love like that,
It lights the whole sky.”
(Poem by Hafiz)
