Some people think it just takes words,
their satisfied just being heard.
But I believe it's what is felt,
what stops your heart or makes it melt.
So here I am with pen in hand

a hug or kiss could never bring.
To feel these things there must be trust
and love in hearts, instead of lust.
And every word has to be true
cause' otherwise they won't touch you.

The one I won't let fall apart.
The one I'll stand by every day,
and try and make it all okay.
The one who's smile can warm my chest,
who's kisses seem to steal my breath.
The one who's touch can ease my mind;
