Tall Walls
The walls are tall
Like looking up into the
Trees
Of a great rain forest
I am sandwiched
Between two great
High rises
Shoulder to shoulder
People everywhere
But the walls, so tall
I stand in shadows
Invisible in shadows
The walls are tall
With markers I write
On my level
Need a lantern to read the
Lines
I leave tales and poems
On tall, tall, walls
For travelers to read
What I have written
Outside their walls
Like looking up into the
