If only Poets were in Charge

If Only Poets Were In Charge

We have been called to action
by Phyllis and her heartfelt pleas
I see Poets one after the other
rising up responding to her challenge
each one with their own unique views
All of them have a solution
Its a pity for all mankind
that us Poets don't run the world
For in such gentle meek caring hands
with hearts that are wide open
Hands that reach out to enfold
to put the world evils to right
things maybe would soon improve
there is so so much that needs doing
yet all governments sit on their hands
doing nothing, nothing at all
Ignoring our heartfelt pleas
Will they ever act? Sadly I think not
I say, I shout move aside, move right now
Let those of us who will, that really care
take Charge, Let us Poets sort things out

Tears are flowing down my cheeks my dear GREAT POET. I CAN'T WRITE FAST BECAUSE, I'M SIMPLY OVERHWELMED BELOW IS A VERY GOOD CAUSE TO THINK FOR THOSE WHOSE LIFE IS NOT SEEMINGLY AFFECTED.

SCENARIO 1. GREED- circa 70. OPEC formed. ONLY ONE REASON. TO EMPOWER THE GREED OF THE OILERS, INVESTORS, PRODUCERS. WHY SO? THEY CONTROLLED THE PRODUCTION OF THE COMMODITY TO IMPOSE THE BURDEN OF HUGE PROFIT FROM THE ORDINARY PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND ME. THERE WAS NO REAON TO BUT REALIZING THAT MONEY IS GIVEN WITH NO QUESTIONS, HECK THEY WILL AMASS THRILLIONS. IT HAPPENED. DURING THAT TIME CARES IN THE WORLD WEERE BUILT WITH NO CONCERN OF WEIGHT OR MILES PER GALLON. AND THEN ALL AND EVERYONE HAD TO PAY THE PRICE. BOTTOM LINE: GREED WAS ENFORCED AT THE EXPENSES OF THE CONSUMERS.

WARS: A PROPAGATION FOR WEALTH FOR THE INVESTORS. NO NEED TO WAGE WAR AND KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE. BUT NEEDED FOR PEACE? BULL. IF ALL OF US, MAN SIMULTANEOUSLY AGREE ON PEACEFUL CO EXISTENCE.. I MEAN ALL OF US. NO CHINESE, ARABS, AUSSIES, AMERICANS, BUT ALL IN ONE UNITED EFFORT TO LIVE AS BROTHERS AND SISTERS. THIS CAN BE DONE. SURE WE NEED PROTOCOL TO ESTABLISH UNITY AND HARMONY. BUT WE CAN ALL DO IT. I BELIEVE..

BUT COMMITMENT AND UNITED EFFORT IS NEEDED MY DEAR. RIGHT NOW THE MOST ACCUTE SERVICE WE CAN ALL DO TO HUMANITY IS THE ELIMINATION OF POVERTY AND IGNORANCE AND CREATION OF LOVE AND COMPASSION.

THAT IS ALL. SIMPLE. BUT FIRST WE DO NEED TO ACKNOWLEDGE IN ALL SINCERITY THAT THERE ISS A PROBLEM. ONLY THEN CAN WE PROCEED TO CREATING A SOLUTION. OUR GREAT MENTOR BILLO SAID AND IT IS TRUE. KNOWING THE PROBLEM IS NO BRAINER BUT POSING FOR THE SOLUTION IS THE HURDLE. BUT IT CAN BE DONE. WE JUST HAVE TO HAVE A UNITED EFFORT BUT SETTING ASIDE DIFFERENCES, JEALOUSY, AND ARROGANCE. WE HAVE TO UNITE WITH LOVE AND COMPASSION. ONLY THEN WE CAN START TO FOCUS ON A SOLID DIRECTION.

YOU ARE MY FRIEND IS A TORCH THAT CAN START AND I WILL BE YOUR SERVANT.
