C omeliest of maidens Upon your beauty People stared in awe It's not surprising Deep Cupid fell when Arrow pierced his foot Now Venus grew angry Did not like this Pass in the least She cursed her Your fate a monster Come you to wed How did Cupid stop this Easy he told Jupiter He ordered Venus cease In peace and harmony Cupid and Psyche lived Always will true love win

I think its difficult to transform that story into poetic form. But that was a clever choice (the acrostic) to compose your poem which was done with ease.

Beautifully done shadow. You are quite the talented maiden poetess. Let Cupids arrow seek thee out from the Mystic Forest.

A clever acrostic, Shadow: Some people think acrostics work better if the initial letter of each line is written in bold, but this is at the whim of the author.
A fine tale too...
