Your Best
I woke to the sounds of birds chirping and my wind chimes gently playing a new tune. I did not realize it, but had stayed in bed until almost noon. The weather man had predicted rain. So, I thought why mess up a good thing. Nature was not at her best, yet has a way to remind me of how we all need a time of rest.
My happy, happy, joy dance and singing out loud would have even made my Aunt Bonn proud. A little rain never hurt anyone. I remember when jumping into mud puddles use to be such fun.
Falling from the sky were tiny, precious jewels of springtime rain to wash away the blues of all those cold winter days. I love taking in the smell of freshly falling rain, seems nothing I can think of smells the same.
Soon, we will be out in the sun. Walking, biking, gardening and swimming. I have tried each one. I do my best, because regardless, I like to have fun. When outdoors I feel such a positive lift. Truly, nature's beauty, is our wonderful gift.
Enjoy your days and spend more time watching the sun set. Take time making memories you will never forget. Handout smiles and hugs everyday. After work, make time to pray and play. Let your sisters, brothers and your significant other hear you say , I love you, more than once a day. Love and laugh, do what you feel. To yourself, may you forever stay real. In all do your best, and trust in God to do the rest.
