Angelic

For one evening
I turned into an angel

By one pair of wings
I hid my angelic innocence
(and also that I am actually no angel)

By the second pair of wings
(they say for fanning)
I was stroking your soul
I drove black dust out of her
(perhaps it behoves a good angel to do)

By the third pair of wings
I raised in the air
and wanted to leave
Once you asked me
If we should ever meet ...

The wings suddenly got heavy
hanging lifeless
Feathers snowed
white and black

How this angel's attire lay heavy on me
Wait just a moment until I'll take it off ...

Then I'll take your palms in mine...
