I Thought of You My Love

I Thought of You
as I lay on the rocks,
watching the foamy waves
crash against the shore.

I Thought of You
as a pleasant wind blew
from the sea
and caressed the
golden glow of my tanned skin.

I Thought of You
as I’d often lain:
cradled in your arms,
with the warmth of your breath
and the touch of your lips
caressing my brow.

As I lay there,
Basking in the afternoon sun,
I wished that you were there beside me.

I Miss you Babe… when we’re Apart.
