Signs of the age?

Mighty Eagle with wings of gold
conquered from within by a voice
so smooth and cold.

A shepherd from the east that no one
knows from whence he came had a vision to be sold.

The flock now in chains with seeds of doubt
as watchful eyes are all about.

The preacher who used to scream and shout to
proclaim his coming is uniquely silent now sits and pouts.

The roar of the lion has awakened the bear sleeps within the
shadows as the hunter lurks among the sandy
hallows marking his path proclaiming his wrath.

To battle they go to the Isle of Megiddo once again
to dance along the tower of power where it all began.

The flood gates shall open from Tigris to Euphrates
the sea of reeds will once again be red with the blood
of the dead.

The shepherd of Galilee shall ride once again upon his white
horse who ultimately will decide the course.

Sharon will cry upon her rose as she wipes the tears of
blood off her nose.

The pride of the eastern wind shall sound the trumpets
as Rachel weeps to the silence of her children.

Anger seething and building like a boiling cauldron.
Fire and smoke shall fill the air as some shall stop to
stare as Lot's beloved once did to see the land parched and
bare yet, her world came to a halt in a pillar of salt.

The echoes of Jericho will be heard once again
as Ashur will tremble to the beat but, who shall be able to
withstand his heat with his golden shield and the piercing
of his arrows at their feet?

Shall the Eagle caged by a shepherd who walks with camels
be obligated to fight against a sword that is dull?

Should the Bear waste it's time and energy on deciding which
side of the river it chooses to fish?

Should the lion pant to the rant and rave to the coming
wave?

Are these the signs of the coming age? If not? is there
something else I missed within the ancient page written
by a sage?
