Reverence

In peace I sit in reverence of the universe
As I contemplate the Heavens as it expands
it's silent beauty declaring the handiwork
of a maker with many faces and names.
I watch the moon laugh as it waxes and wanes.
To consider the stars that twinkle from afar
they neither toil or spin nor judge right or wrong
yet who can with all their gold and might command them to
fade from our sight?
Who can measure their quality within a song?
Consider the lofty ones of old, lumbering within their
line so bold? Who can discern their motions to keep them in time when the holy voice declared their signs?
As the tamer said to the lion Be calm in your ways
for I wear my belt that will still shine at the end of days
Who is the master and who is the beast?
He who exalts himself will be counted least, He who humbles himself shall be welcomed to the Lord's feast.
Pride and arrogance seems to be the most common stance among the kings of the earth yet given time they too will share the fiery hearth as they contemplate their final dance deploring their birth.
The Kingdom of Heaven shall forever stand as it bows to the son of man.
Heavenly hosts shall sing unto the bell toll's ring as the clouds will rumble and the mountains crumble to the command of the returning King.
In his fury upon a golden chariot will he sail along the skies as the inhabitants of the earth will scatter in a hurry to hide their face in disgrace as they bewail their cries.
Tis' time to consider the ways of the lord or fear his wrath
from the one who speaks from the mouth that has a two-edged sword.
