I hang you up You are so special Each of you have a different meaning The fish ornament I made in second grade in 1976 The 50 year old ornaments I rescued from my parent's auction White House ornaments from the around 2005 Ornaments from my brother moving out of his house in 2006 A Simpson's ornament from Burger King An ornament I found in the trash An angel with my middle name on it A school house from Jennifer, a 6th Grader in 1995 Plain red, blue, gold, silver, and green ornaments Hockey puck from the Dubuque Fighting Saints Snoopy on skis Cartman and Stan from SouthPark Candy canes Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, how I could relate to you Santa Snowman and Snowwoman You all hang on my artifical tree I bought it with my starter ornaments, lights, and garland in 1996 So this will be the 18th Christmas for my 5 and a half foot tree My light will be blinking in 10 different patterns for all to see

About this poem:
Put up my tree today. I put my Christmas tree up the Saturday before Thanksgiving. I try to add one ornament each year to change up the look. I prefer cartoon characters if I can find the right one.
Awesome history here mcrad...now you've reminded me about Christmas trees...I'm looking at my husband as I write this...and...he's looking the other way...I wonder why???
Hi Mc .......cool write......its easy to see you value even the simplest of things with great memories ...........really enjoyed this ........Regards Nu
