“In check”

Cursed friendships.
Only lies dance out of your lips.
No guillotine will sever these ties
I’ve my pride and you your lies.
But even Judas ushered sorrow for his crime.
Hope you count the weight of your gold and silver, cherish every dime.
May they never lose their shine.
I’ll watch you hang by the neck.
Soon my friend in this game of chess, you’ll be “in check”
