Taurus the bull
claimed he had too great a soul
to die like a common criminal...

April 26, 1865
shot rang out
hands held above chest
tell mother I died for country
these hands, useless...useless..

Hi nonsmoker,
Perhaps Booth uttered these words due to the fact when he was shot by a Union soldier in the barn he was hiding in it severed his spinal cord and he was left paralyzed..I'll research that connection between Oswald and booth as I am a history buff..

I was not aware of this, as too, I am a history buff,
but my fascinations lie within more recent events, WWII,
to be precise, tho' I do find this tid bit very interesting.
