Pain

Pain is strong
Pain is hard
Pain will make you
And pain will break you
It will show you
Life, through others eyes
May show you right
Or may show you wrong
No matter who you are
It'll pull you down
Get back up
And start again.

I felt this way last year when I lost my dog of 16yrs and then a few months later lost my cat of 18yrs. welcome to poets corner.

Very touching poem, when I lost my dog it was like the whole world had changed and it had, I have lost 3 best friends in my life time and every time it kills me, at least we had that love with them, how ever short lived it was, those wonderful memories, I really like you poem and am sorry for your loss
