cast out

in the garden
Lush and green
Adam and Eve
Play and wander

Forbiden to eat the fruit
The apple of desire
Wearing their fig leaves to spare theirBlushes
Into the garden the slivering snake

Hisses with devils contempt
To the tree of life he glides
Climbs the tree the apple he spies tempting teasing he his with contempt

He tempts eve with the fruit of life
Lifts the apple from the tree wave it for eve to eat
Forbiden she is to eat
Hunger pains

Her sole lost to the devils serpent
She bites the apple now her feast
To the banished kingdom Adam and Eve are cast out
For eating the tree of life
