The world outside the window, wet and green...
A sight that gives thought, "How can she be so mean?"
The rain falls over the earth, cleansing it from dirt...
Can my tears make this memory as white as this Shirt?

Her face was my saviour, she blinded my sight...
These drops reflect her face, As mine washes away my might.
I withered away, as she swallowed me whole, alive....
As this rain does to that rock, fading its hope to survive.

The rain picks pace, as I step outside...
My vision blurred, dont know becoz of rain or tears inside.
I betrayed people, just to maintain that smile...
Yet here I stand, with this rain watching me cry.

The fault is mine, It cant be denied...
I was stupid, like that boy standing outside.
He would catch cold, like I am from her lies...
Then we smile, laugh at how to ourself we lied.

This shirt is now heavy, just the way I feel inside...
Now the rain slows, clearing the world under my sight.
A greener world, a world that calms my sight...
Giving me moments to run away from the inner fight.

Finally the ray falls, covering my wetself with light...
Lightens my shirt, highlighting the answer that lies underneath my eyes...
The wet imprint of my shoes, that will fade away with time...
And a green lawn up ahead, waiting for the first to grace its wet soil.
