Sangria

Embedded image from another site

My love appears
in such a mist
of the apotheosis of her perfume
hidden like a fragrant rose
within the somber nucleus of a star...

Intermittent tender kisses
riding on waves of music...

Glass of Sangria and rain
in our thirst of fever
submerging us in a warm still pool
of an ominous rare jewel
opening to a rising sun
the eyes that were closed in darkness...
