In the plan of God's Kingdom man's on top,'tis true But I often learn more from my dogs than from you! Oh, yes if you step on their toes they may cry But you'll ne'r find a grudge, just grace in their eyes They'll lick you, defending your right to mistakes Persuade you, it's okay, whatever it takes! God's plan must have been a true image of grace When first man saw dog, they met face to face Even Adam, naming them, wouldn't pettifog, There was no disputing- there's none like the dog!! We have a reminder, remains so today- Just spell DOG backward, what more can one say?! A glimpse we've been shown, Father's gift from above An unmitigated example of HIS PERFECT LOVE!!

About this poem:
I believe GOD created dogs to teach us how to love!
i enjoyed the read, but we don't appear to have learn much in thousands of years do we. Reminds me of an old joke. if you locked your dog and your wife in the boot of the car and then came back three hours later, which one would be happy to see you?. Rob

if we could be as good as dogs, that would be something to aspire to - lcbr

Wonderful heart you have dear. Dogs have been known to rush into burning buildings to save their owners, an act contrary to every animal instinct. Cafe
