On comes the night
The darkness moving in
This keeper of all my secrets
This creator of my sin.
On comes the night
Forever my silent mate
The darkest of dark embrace
My one and only fate
On comes the night
Respise from the glaring light
The veil that hides my faults
The world of black and white
On comes the night
And into its embrace I will go
For his is the only way
The only life I know
