It's so cold and wet I can't hold my phone It slips to the unforgiving concrete and covers more ground No one knows where I'm around.
More lights flash on by Major accident the traffic goes back for miles Firetrucks pass on through.
It's been too long why does no one care for me where I am I walk ahead
along the wet dark crowded road 5000 pairs of headlights pointing to nothing in sight.
My shirt begins to weigh down upon me like a robe of great magnificence but as far as the general population can see To few do I hold any significance.
The lights slowly fade into view the reds the blues, all the hues Ambulance speeds on by I sure wouldn't wanna be that guy.
Now I see the tape the debris the skewed metal and paint glass that crunches under my Reeboks
5 miles ago did I start my walk with one goal in mind: homeward bound but now I learn a terrible truth now I cannot stay alone tonight.
After that wicked party that everyone said was off the hook I was going to go to Camden Yards for a family affair.
