Life as it is

I stood to strong for to damn long, i sat by and watched it all take place, a softened heart among many treasures i hold without a trace i found someone to see not to know dont let go, i walked through forever to find that dove, i carried the pain until she changed lanes and wasted my love, now i am just an old soldier without a gun, standing when i should run, such fun. Today i am now free as not many can see I’m buried underneath my favourite tree thanks to thee.

But you are here, you are alive, you are the soldier who has lived the pain, pleasure and crushing sadness and who still reaches out a part of himself knowing there is someone in this huge world who will see him and feel whole again.
