Life is such a short trip
One day your are crawling on the floor
Baby steps wandering what is going on
Following mummy everywhere
Then I leave home for the first time
Kindergarten a new place to sleep
Meet new friends searching for answers
The grass is green
The sky is blue
Then comes the camping trips to Algonquin Park
I like roasting marshmellows and singing by the campfire
My first trip to Niagara Falls
Watching the water going down and all around
Maid of the mist in the middle of it all
Marineland Ontario the whales playing
As time goes by I have graduated from College
I have fallen in love with music
But do not realize how hard it is to survive
The battle is continiuos
There is a time for dreaming

I have been through a war
Saw President John F Kennedy
Get assassinated in Dallas
Watched the landing on the moon
Experienced the thrill of the Beatles
Bob Dylan and Johnny cash

People come and people go
Decisions have to be made
I have attended many funerals
Saying good bye is difficult
Paying the bills/ being responsable
Where does all this come from
