Angel of the night

I see you in my head, writing all the words I haven't read, your words fall like rain, along with your hidden pain. I see your ink turning red, for all the times that you've bled. Through the darkness I heard you call, along with every tear that falls. I see an angel of the night, for every tear that falls, brings life. She folds her wings and closes her eyes as the last tear drop falls, it's spring-time in the middle of fall. She brushes her hair to one side and I caught the corner of her eye, as she ready to flee, I get down on my knees to let her know I mean her no harm, as I lower my head, she gently caresses my face with her soft skin, she opens her arms and lifts me up, she looks deep in my eyes as if she was peeking at my soul, not a word she mumbles, just a smile as she lets me go. I seen an angel that has gone astray, carrying the world as she flew away.
