depends , if the friend wasnt hugely into the guy , then as long as the friend is cool withthe girl going for him , then why not !!

like how close is youur friend was it a bad
breakup or a clean break does your friend still

If it was my best friends girl I would never

I wouldn't have a problem with a friend dating an ex of mine but I would reckon that it would depend on the circumstances of the break up. If I dumped him, then I would consider he was fair game. If he dumped me, then I would prefer if a friend would leave a couple of months at least before making a move.

I would say it depends on the reason as to why they are your 'ex'
If they screwed around on you then I would wait until they got a new partner and then WHAM! Bed them again. If you dumped them, why would you even want to go there again?

I reckon 1-3 mths depending on how involved the couple were. After that, I'd say, fair game!
For me; My ex is my ex for a reason, I've no interest in getting back with him so whomever he decides to go out with is none of my business. And if it's a mutual friend, it might be a bit arkward at the start but only if you let it be.

Fair point but in doing so you must weight up the pros and cons. You may lose your friend in the process but gain a boyfriend!!I suppose it all depends on what strength of relationship they had in the first place and why they did split
