If you're asking what the definition of single is legally, then single is one who isn't married. The other day a gentlemen on here approached me. I looked at his profile and it said he is separated which is a red flag for me. This man is married but living without his partner but he is still married. He said the fact the he has been living alone for four years makes him single. I disagree.

Single?? Lived alone 4 years, sleep alone, do own washing, cook, decide what to have on my sandwich, vacuum, do my own gardens, travel on my own - have been doing those things singularly for 4 years - BUT - no Decree in the drawer - so I shall never be single until I have a Decree - don't think so - oh and by the way - being single is being associated with lonliness here today - I'm not lonley - but certainly single
Geez.. if single meant being loney, or someone who feels alone then any married dude can come and say he's single when he's very much married. Where's the logic here?
