I think people are more fussy in on line dating because they can be. I think the bar is set higher here because there are no consequences. The worst that can happen in the initial stages of online contact is you have to ignore or block that person. I worry a bit about online dating because all our senses can not be utilized to weed out the undesirables as would be in the real world. Its easy to construct an image on here that may seem appealing but may not in line with the real person.
@ glen i dont think we are more fussy by doing it this way,we all know or like to think what we want in a partner, this way gets u to know the person more i think than the usual pub/club scene when the drink isnt involved and u might be able to get a bit of decent conversation out of them i would like to think im the same as when i chat to a guy on here in real life,i did meet a guy from here for coffee the first week i was here and he said i was just the same
