If we don't pay it .. the Government will just increase income tax...... and those of us who have paid it ... will have to pay again through tax increases. Sick listening to the likes of Joe Higgins ... telling people not to pay - didn't hear him kicking up a fuss when the government decided to rob/levy peoples pensions ..... and don't see him paying my legal fees if I decide not to pay....
Anyone who thinks a tax on drinking water is just needs to wake up and take a look around. Putting Fluoride in the water is a German/American idea, we, and the States are among the very few places in the world that do that to our water. What I'm saying is, if you want to know where water taxation is going to go after a few years here, look at America. That link shows how it has become illegal in several American States to collect rainwater on your own property. People who do so are charged with "tax evasion", which can lead to fines and prison.
The second link describes something even more bizarre. It's a new tax being implemented, it relates to excess rain water runoff. This means that if a city or state has too much water in it's storm drains, they are penalised. Now, simply implementing and enforcing something like that costs money, so a tax is being introduced to fund the "excess rain water" initiative.
My point is, we have to stop this now, in the numbers we have now. Otherwise, people who oppose things like this will be singled out and picked off one by one. Don't think, by any means, that a property tax and water tax is the end. If this passes, if the government gets away with this, things will only get even more ludicrous over time.
No France isnt broke, neither is Germany, . . ,coincidentally it is Primarily French and German speculators who caused this debacle by fuelling the property boom and now are handing us the bill. We were warned this kinda thing could happen if we joined the Eu,the banksters were all in favour of it and if that wasnt a warning of doom then i dont know what is !
I dont agree with the property tax, no way you should have to pay to live in your own house and i live in the countryside so there are no services. water usage is different there is too much water wastage in Ireland so i dont think its a bad thing to pay for what you use.

If I refuse to pay water charges, will it stop raining on me?
