But the US DoE gave Phillips, a $10m grant to do the research and development of the LED lightbulb. A lightbulb that will now compete with the bulbs made here in the US.

OH...yes. Our Obama government is still at work making jobs in foreign countries with the American tax payers dollar.

It is not like Phillips, one of the worlds largest companies, could not afford the $10m for inventing this new bulb. That is pidgeon feed money to Phillips. Specially for a innovotative product like this, that will likely capture a large market share.

Basically the Obama government gave a research grant to a firm that make and hold market share for several decades as American firms try to catch up.

This is why we need a business man in the White House.........

What you forget TT, is the fact that there are not much differences between right winger parties getting on power in any countries .

Anouncing a politcal party being forbidden makes more people getting more intersted in the same, and by that when the possibility of voting the same party in... more people going for it.

Will the OWS groups endorse a Presidential candidate? Will they be permitted to? If they do, is it any real benefit to that Presidential hopeful?

Surely the man of the hour of the OWS is President Obama, since they were fully embraced by Nancy Pelosi earlier. So President Obama is thier go to guy. But does a OWS endorsement help him or hurt him?

There the David Axelrod's are saying.....this is going to hurt you, Mr. President. The Axelrods, know that OWS did not impact main street and mid road America. If anything Main street and mid road America would toss OWS of the country.
