If you knew the purpose of dreams you would know that they can't predict the future but can alter the future by modifying your actions. Most people don't know what dreaming is for.
Don't really go with the whole hooey poky of dream reading, but if you can try and imagine that when you are in dream state higher brain functions kick in and with being near dam invincible and totally relaxed, you can perceive your self doing almost anything but at the same time knowing your real world limits.
So if you have something on your mind when you fall into dream state that scenario will play out, and because we play it out in numerous ways depending on how we would like the outcome,
So in a sense if you can play out every conceivable direction a certain meeting or event could play out, then when the actual event occurs and you see or feel da ja vu, its only that you have played it out before it actually happens.
We dream in familiar surroundings it's rare to wake up from a very stimulating dream and not know where it had taken place !
We also dream about familiar faces and use their answers and action according to how we perceive them.
Edgar Cayce had a few out of dozens that did whether by coincidence or not, within a year or two after they were recorded. The last one had to do with the possible rising up of parts of what he termed 'the ruins of Atlantis'; actual carved stone pillars, 2 if I recall washed up near Bimini island; a short time later underwater explorers discovered what is now called 'the Bimini wall(s) of massive granite cut stone blocks on the sea bed where none had been seen before...all fully documented. One can also check out the dreams and visions of the Bulgarian woman known as Baba Vanga; WW3 predicted made many years ago; so far quite a few are seemingly more than coincidental...especially with the rise of militant Muslims and the war in Chechnya that is not yet over. Very interesting...
i know some folks who actually used remote viewing to look at the 'future' for picking out lottery numbers. and they did win...(grin) i have also met folks who have had premonitions in their dreams which have come to pass.
mr_hazel_awesome: Well, you say no but I had a dream about 5 weeks ago that actually predicted something very exact and in an uncanny way
From when I was in the third grade I began to have dreams of the future. Dreams that were so accurate that it was like watching a video replay when the actual events occurred. These dreams continue to this day. I just wish that I could dream of Lotto numbers.

(s: have you ever experienced this yourself?)
Hallo Jono! Somewhat, I'm not sure what to call them however; dreams since childhood and years would go by and then suddenly it's like deja-vu and I then recall the dream at the very moment. I wish that whatever it is or from where it comes that it could be controlled or at least something to tell me 'it' is coming...frustrating to say the least. Remote viewing to see into the future????????? Ive read several books on that including one by the 'founder' of the whole concept for the CIA experiments and even 2 or 3 by former participants in using it for various intelligence services, there was never any sort of mention or capability for seeing into any realm other than a real time location, be it thousands of miles away or in an object. Several people mentioned trying to lock on to UFO's but were mentally or even psychically blocked from doing so...one would have to go back to Raymond Fowlers books on 'the Watchers' to perhaps get a clue as to the nature of the whole phenomenon...
