Doh. Somehow put this in the inters instead of here. You register as a shop on adverts.ie and sell stuff for 25c a listing. Cheaper than E-bay - wondered how many people are actually using Adverts these days.

thanks guys - I just wanted to know how well known it was before I joined. But if you have your own items to sell (e.g furniture, a car, clothes etc) it is free to put an advert in.

I'm on an amazing swap shop group on fb. No money generally changes hands, just swapping. Give me a shout and I'll sign you up

they are brilliant! I am on the Drogheda one. have given lots of stuff I don't want away free to grateful people! makes me feel better about myself big hello to you
yes - go there if looking for a big or a home item but adverts pitched as being an alternative to E-Bay for Irish buyers on a day to day basis . Starting own business and rent in a small town seems crazy money but it's hard to get exposure without a shop front ...

I have sold stuff on it and use it a little, only problem for me is very little from donegal on it. I have noticed a few shops on it alright so its a mix of people selling a few bits and people selling from shops as well.
