patmac: You gotta love the way he rewrites history. I mean '48 as a civil war....LMAO...Fred you really do dream at times, check your statement about Jerusalem at that time....Total and complete Fabrication of facts....

But we all know facts for you are meant to be ignored and twisted to suit....

Historical facts Fred are so clear and your twisting of them is so similar.

Sad Fred Sad...
seems he doesn't know that East-Jerusalem was occupied by Jordan in '49,then annexed in1950,and so was the Westbank!
Almost cost Jordan its Membership in the Arab League!

Then in '94,they generously gave what didn't belong to them to the Palestinian Arabs!

Did pretty good to tell the truth. Three four hundred years with a good part of the world and, in some pretty out of the way places. Not like other empires that simply moved from one country to the next using pure mass Britain used iron will, smaller numbers strategically placed with superior tactics and discipline which meant less force than other empires such as the Muslim Caliphates and Ottomans used.

anyway north korea has confirmed its firing its rocket this week the Russian have had this to say
In Moscow, the RIA Novosti news agency quoted a Foreign Ministry spokesman, Alexander Lukashevich, as saying that Russia viewed Pyongyang’s plans as “an example of ignoring decisions of the U.N. Security Council.”

doesn't say much for international respect of UN resolutions

Obama visited here recently and expressly made the point the water ways in that region must remain open to all shipping...

Looks like NTH Korea is about to see how far there missile can go, seems lot more plausible than putting up a satellite to look at north korean forests which is what they appear to be proposing is the intention of the rocket

North Korea has said the rocket will be launched in a southerly direction, which would take it over the Okinawa archipelago far from Shinjuku.
