I can't vote Pedro, sorry! My answer would be 'it depends'. I'm assuming your talking about public toilets and if so, if I need to sit down I put a few layers of toilet paper on the seat and only flush if there was something in there but then again I wouldn't use a toilet that had something in it unless it was the only free one.

One thing I always so is if I use the toilet before I have a shower I never flush it til AFTER I have my shower. Its a habit I cant seem to get out of.
Its from when I was a student living in belfast and the house I lived in for 2 1/2 yrs and the cistern took forever to fill so if you wanted to have a shower the cold water wouldnt go to the taps...cue being almost scalded a few times when I forgot.....I soon learned my lesson and it became a force of habit from then on.

I worked in a hotel one summer in my teens and every sunday morning I was in for room service and cleaning the bar and bar toilets.
The lady i worked with used to barely open the door to the mens toilets in the bar and throw a 5 litre bottle of domestos round the room, then leave it for an hour. The things I saw in there would frighten ye.
Have to say the ensuite bathrooms werent much better at times......dont know how on earth so many could miss the toilet......doing a pee maybe.....but a poo.....jaysus

My house is the same, when ,my daughter lived at home and she was in the shower and someone put the cold tap on in the kitchen there was murder

I hear ya Filly and Mariannette nothing worse than going from scalded to freezing in 2 seconds! I've lived in old houses with that going on too, and still have the scars!
A friend and I years ago stayed in a hostel in Doolin and (thankfully) she went to use the shower first. It was one of those types that was welded onto the ceiling and had no knob to adjust the temperature! The water was freaking boiling, she almost cooked, and the worst bit was she couldn't open the shower door....so she kicked it clean off the hinges and came into me screaming....I was screaming too when I saw the colour of her....day glow pink! It was desperate! I just went smelly for that weekend

I got let go from that job...they kept asking me for my RSI number and I kept telling them yeah I'll get it but being only 15 I didn't have 1...so I just admitted it to them in the office...He said I was the biggest 15 year old he ever saw...and I liked that job
on the subject of public toilets..I never sit on the rim..I always hover and If I miss I miss...scotch hall shopping centre toilets in Drogheda is a prime example...after a heavy night on the drink I landed in there the next day for a dump..I missed badly...and because I was so sick I just left it there for the poor cleaners...It still haunts me to this day
