Marriages involving a black husband and white wife were twice as likely to divorce as marriages involving a white husband and white wife.

Asian male/white female marriages were 59 percent more likely to end in divorce than white male/white female marriages.

Marriages involving a white husband and black wife were substantially less likely to end in divorce than marriages involving a white husband and white wife; the former pairing’s divorce rate was 44 percent less than the latter.

Couples composed of a white husband and Asian wife were 4 percent more likely to end in divorce than marriages involving a white husband and white wife.

Hispanic white/non-Hispanic white and Asian/white marriages were more liable to divorce than those of in-married Hispanic whites and Asians.

Marriages including a black husband and white wife were more prone to divorce than those composed of black husbands and black wives. Black male/white female couples also had the highest likelihood of divorce of all white/non-white marriages.

While interracial marriage correlates to a higher rate of divorce, this parallel applies mainly to marriages involving a non-white male and white female. ~ (ed: wham bam thank you mam!!!)

So why is it that White men are looking outside the race to find a decent woman to stay married to? And why is it that White women are looking outside the race to find a bad boy to get pumped and dumped by?

KNenagh: This is a statistic of divorce rates of interracial marriages, it says NOTHING about how many white man look for Asian wifes or white women look for black husbands (nearly non-existent percentages if I look around me), also you overread the fact that Asain women and white men have a 4 times higher divorce rate.

Rumple4skin: Whoa, just because, firstly, I'm the only one astute enough to even notice that White women's interracial marriages are much worse than mens. And secondly, the only one with any kind of faculty for critical thinking necessary to explain this reality is not something to be criticised in a person

So what, my posts have something to say and they're not the grule of mediocrity that we're used to. You shouldn't attack a man for having something to say, especially when it transpires that the evidence is on his side.

My high school president was a African American boy. Now this is going back to 1960 before the Civil Rights Act when it was still frowned on to even be around a black person. He lived on my street and all the years that I knew him I never thought of being intimate with him. He was good looking, very nice and smart. He probably would have gone on to big things in his life but he died several years after graduation.

The same reason a white woman looks at a white man are the same reasons she looks at a black man.

But your last line is pure truth. Her visceral urges remain the same no matter the colour of him, she's still attracted to confidence and male power, it's only that Black men exhibit traits of confidence and male power and are far more red-blooded than White Beta male middle class complements & cuddle herbs.

montemonte: When I'm looking to meet someone who could be a potential partner I don't look for "evidence" or statistics if his ancestry is known to be good at ice hockey. The man should be judged for what attracted the woman to him.

That's a whacky thing to say implying that black men are less kind, that they are more likely to abandon their children. Where do you get this nonsense from? Oh, I know.....statistics.

Rumple4skin: Yes, statistics. They are far more likely not to be around as a Father.. and this holds true in the US, Europe and Africa. And yes this statistic may not matter to you but it would if it happened to you, and statistics also matter to reasonable people and also to people that think beyond their own immediate selfish concerns...

But yes, and I am judging on what attracts her to him, this is precisely what I'm doing. She is attracted to his masculinity and red-bloodedness because it's certainly not because Blacks are more reliable, trustworthy, softer or more Beta thsn White men. All I'm saying is that a real man in the West, which is currently 5,000 feet from terminal velocity impact, is unlikely to be White.
