Antoniacv: That's the dream of my life!!!I already got just the basic to live, in the modern world let's say, so if I eventually decide to sell out everything ... that will be money enough for 1 week lol... I dont even have a car... but a lovely bike hehe. My kid likes it like this as well, we're free spirits :DI don't think its necessary to store stuff and more stuff and getting more and more... so it would make it easier when I decide to start all over somewhere over the rainbow...besides travelling gives u all sort of amazing experiences that I hope to start living from now

I'm going to see Europe in a couple of weeks so Im all excited!!!I wonder if anyone with kids here has sold out their stuff and gone tripping around??
Hi Antonia, When my ex wife and i were together, we put our stuff in storage and travelled with our children for a year around Australia, we camped in a tent and coverd about 17000km, we had a wonderful time and our children got to experience lots of different things and different locations, we took school work with us so the children didn't miss out on their education. It was an awesome experience with lots of wonderful memories.thumbs up

Rogerzoekt: I've sold everything I had 2 times now and travelled for 1,5 years.

It was the best thing I ever done, but did it on my own.

i want to know how how you people feel about doing a thing like that.
in all fairness you have to be very open minded in doing so! it is not for everyone otherwise everyone would be doing it! you have to be comfortable enough to leave the comfort zone and trot on

Who are you to say western women don't act right?

For somebody who has rumpled 4 skin, I think you better take a look at yourself before judging others.

Rumple4skin: I agree that Oriental women respect men for how they always were and will always be. They understand that they must make themselves to desirable to men in order to deserve commitment, western women believe they can be as lazy and repulsive as they like and still somehow expect the attention of desirable men.. and when this, unsurprisingly, doesn't happen they become even more Feminist and repulsive to men - she eats yet another triple chocolate gateaux and insists that she's just "curvy".

But to subordinate a strong woman to your will.. this aint Beta, it's anything but Beta, however it's certainly tough. And I don't want to evade Feminism by flying East, I want to confront and expose Feminism, kick it square in the face and uncompromisingly reveal to the World the losers and weaklings that conform to its freakish, ego-assuaging, code.

I can't argue with that Rumpole, so hold the fort while I give our Eastern girls some encoouragementhug cheering cheering devil devil

Up to now you had me thinking that all your philosophical ranting day after day might have some points but now I see that it's just a front for the confidence you wish you had.

Hiya Monts wave Good thing for us there are plenty of masculine men around who like smart, independent women and not closet wimps who are secretly afraid of equal women. You know the ones....those who feel the need to prove their manliness by being an a**hole.roll eyes hug

2intrigued: Toronto is in the midst of a blizzard that began yesterday afternoon and has since intensified...decided to take a snow day instead of spending hours commuting to work. We're expecting 25 to 30 cm total snow accumulation which is about 9 to 12 inches.

I doubt very much "he" would say it to your face cuz us western women hit back...subservience does not apply to us.

Well be careful shoveling snow Trigs. You don't want to hurt your back. It would be a shame to have to take sick days.....wouldn't it laugh laugh

This wouldn't be the first time you've uttered similar mewlings as to this, and then gone on to behave completely duplicitously..

I rarely subordinate myself to insults from people I respect, and I don't respect the petty - the "C" word was one of a vast number of words - and so I wouldn't waste your breath.

Argue with me? If I was wrong and the Feminists right then you, and so many other western men, wouldn't even be interested in the Orient.

cameleon123: guy, some chick must have given u a serious STD!!! haha! if i had to choose, i wont choose between east or west but most of these eastern women see "foreigners" as a meal ticket hence thats why they have to keep in shape to keep us interested!

Absolutely, that's why the Western Man is Beta for importing a Thai bride.. she doesn't actually desire him she just impersonates the attributes that women show when they desire a man - such as keeping in shape.

I think this scene captures the hypocrisy well. Got to love South Park.

2intrigued: Thank you for your explanation but I won't get into a debate about people's size and the value you place on an individual based on outward appearances or lack of subservience to man. Seems we've hijacked the thread here.

It's not just outward appearance, being fat suggests you're inactive and sedentary which is a personality flaw.. in this case you can judge a book by its cover

But yes we should respect the CS forums 100% intolerance policy towards flowing and evolving conversation and get of this thread immmediately.

Have a nice weekend

joyaepace: women should at least adhere as closely to a healthy BMI as men do? What??? Look around at other men and not all the time in the mirror! Or are all British men Apollos? Hm, may be I should consider moving then.

Well, tell me your BMI and I'll see what I can do at customs... we might be able to slip you an easy visa if your numbers are good.

I have no idea about my index, ha ha! I have a rule not to eat late at night, no junk foods and bread and it is sufficient to stay thin. But the question was about British guys though - can you guarantee that they are worth my visit? I mean gents in age range around 50-60. Are they fit, washed, clothes ironed, nice smell? I don't need visa to go to the UK, so if the answer is positive then super laugh

Ok, brace yourself for the truth, not all British men are the Adonis that I am.

But are they fit? - Let's not get into this again.
Washed? - probably
Clothes ironed? - if you move in together
Nice smell? - the British man scent is second to none

How could you refuse?

I quite agree that the feminist movement has overstated it´s market. The times.......they.are.a.changing!!! But that movement was necessary at one stage. Trouble is....no-one knows when is the time to quit.
