I will include current players on my list when their full career comes to an end. Cabrera is by far the best hitter in baseball today. 3 years ago it was Albert Pujols. Current times are too fickle to include in an all time great list. Also it is difficult to do such a list as this. The game has changed so much from the mound being lowered to less spacious ballparks and league expansion. The designated hitter and even steroids come into play, although I don't agree that steriod use disqualifies you from the Hall of Fame. Too much emphasis is placed on the benefits of steroids by the way, which were only banned just a few years ago. Does anyone think Barry Bonds or Alex Rodriguez would not make the Hall of Fame if they never used? Over time my list wil change as it should.

Talk about steroids..... All of the San Freakoe Giants team sure looked juiced up in the World Series last year to me ....
