It's all relative. If she/he is 18 and you are 38 then yes it matters very much. If you are 40 and the other person is 58 then it doesn't matter so much. You're both at that point fully grown,and if you are not then you never will be. You've both been around the block a few times,seen and done it all and experienced all the crap,and some of the joy that life has to throw at you.

As long as there is not a huge age difference, sure. I would not date more than 5 years older woman as for younger. I'd go from somewhere like 24. 10 year difference at the most.

I was in a relationship with someone younger than me and in the long run... age gap was an issue... not coz of age itself but coz of maturity level -even if im not the most mature woman ever but hey... hehe
My bf is 43 and Im 32...wich means our age gap its 11...nobody would ever notice though , since he looks way younger and I...well ... I look older than Im unfortunately lol
