Ok throw the question back. If North Korea's leader finally does step over the edge and invade South Korea what are you going to nuke? The North Korean population, who are as much victims as anybody else? Are you going to try to use nukes on the battlefield with all of the 'collateral damage' that will result in? Using nukes is like swatting flies with grenades, the fly might well be dead! but that is now the least of your problems!

Nuclear weapons came about as a "deterrent" or threat to stop others from getting out of control. But, it has become the biggest mightmare for all humanity as those who willingly joined the NNPT (Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty) aka NPT, are choosing to violate agreements.
Nuclear weapons are the most destructive tool in a nation's arsenal that renders land and "things" untouchable for generations and even centuries. It's just plain stupid to consider using nucs when other "tools" exist.
