Libra, sorry it took a while to reply, my mother was Irish, she often spoke of it as The Potato Wars, but probably how the Brits treated the Irish producers, taking the supplies, for themselves and leaving the Irish impoverished, hungry, faminous, etc, By the way my father, Irish moms husband was from England, I still have a hard time with this, lol. However, they are both in heaven, well, at least one is, lol.
