I think his ex wan probably was winding him up because he couldn't get his leg over ...so he couldn't leg it.....so he 'accidently' shot her...4x....seems he was also practising his gunmanship in a restaurant previously....

I'm watching the trial summary every night at 9.30pm on Sky... the law still states you are entitled to shoot if your life is in danger or you are being directly threatened. For eg, through a safety gate, you are not allowed to shoot to "defend" yourself, but you can if the safety gate was not in place. He shot through a closed door without ascertaining who was behind it.
I hope he gets his justice. He seems like a trigger-happy guy who reacts too quickly, and this time it has cost him.
